1. Matikan printer
2. Tahan tombol resume dan tekan tombol power.
3. Tetap tahan tombol power dan lepaskan tombol resume.
4. Tekan resume 2 kali dan lepaskan kedua tombol.
5. Lampu hijau akan muncul dan berhenti blinking.
6. Pada saat lampu hijau berhenti blinking tekan resume 4 kali.
7. Tekan tombol power dan printer akan mati
8. YPrinter anda akan kembali normal.

Step 1 : Manual for service mode
1. Unplug power and USB.
2. Open the cover and hold power button.
3. Connect power.
4. Close cover, then release power button.
or Step 1: Manual for service mode
1. Turn off the printer. And disconnect the printer cable.
2. Press and hold the POWER button, turn on the printer.
3. The indicator (L.E.D.) should be green.
4. Press and release the RESUME button , the indicator (L.E.D.) should be orange.
5. Press and release the RESUME button again, the indicator (L.E.D.) should be green.
6. Release both buttons. 
step 2 : Software for Permanant
1. Reconnect the printer cable.
2.Open General Tools software and select (USB PORT)
3 .Choose (SET DESTINATION 1) And it should be reset.
Remark "After service mode Pls use software for permanent reset"

This the ways to reset your printer :

1. Start with printer off
2. Press and hold resume Button (triangle in the circle) and click “Power” button. green led should be on
3. hold the Power button, release Resume Button.
4. Without releasing the Power Button, double click “Resume” button and then release Both Buttons.
5. Click “Resume” for four times then click “Power” button, to confirm the selected action (reset counter absorber).
6. Turn off the printer and turn on again

Pesan WGA ini muncul apabila anda menggunakan windows bajakan dan anda terhubung dengan internet sehingga apabila auto update windowsnya ON maka windows secara otomatis akan mengupdate dirinya. Padahal sebenarnya fasilitas update ini hanya boleh untuk windows yang original / asli. Dengan update otomatis ini, maka windows akan terdeteksi bajakan oleh microsoft.com dan muncullah pesan Windows Genuine Advantage (WGA) ini.

Saat ini banyak sekali software software untuk mendefrag hardisk, mulai dari yg freeware hingga berbayar. Namun software software tsb hanya akan menambah beban hardisk dan memory kita jika menggunakannya. Alangkah lebih baik jika kita memanfaatkan fitur defrag hardisk yang telah disediakan windows.Caranya :

• Pilih Dirve mana yang ingin anda defrag, misal C:
• Pada drive tsb klik kanan dan pilih properties, akan muncul jendela properties
• Cari tab Tools dan klik
• Pada Defragmentation klik defragment now, tunggu sampai hardisk selesai di defrag
• Selesai

Cara ini digunakan untuk me-reset printer canon BJC 5X/8X/M40/M70, langkahnya adalah :

• Unplug Power Cord
• Hold POWER and RESUME buttons
• Plug in Power Cord
• Release buttons after the printers starts up
• Hold CARTRIDGE and RESUME
• Press POWER
• Release all buttons after the beeps
• Press CARTRIDGE 16 times
• Press RESUME
• Unplug the Power cord

Untuk me-reset canon pixma IP 1880 perhatikan langkah langkah dibawah ini baik baik :

RESET MANUAL

1. Tekan dan tahan tombol resume 1-2 menit
2. Buka cover printer
3. Lepaskan Catridge dan Pasang kembali
4. Tutup cover
5. Matikan dan hidupkan lagi printer, selesai

RESET DENGAN SOFTWARE
Sebelum me-reset dengan General tool atau Ip tool driver printer anda harus telah terinstall di komputer, langkah2 resetnya adalah :

1. Download Software resetternya DISINI
2. Cabut kabel power printer, tekan dan tahan tombol power kemudian colokkan kabel power ke listrik.
3. Sambil menekan tombol power, tekan tombol resume 2 kali, kemudian lepas tombol power
4. Jalankan General tool, klik lock release, kemudian set destinasinya ke IP 1880
5. Klik tombol Main dan tombol Platen
6. Terakhir klik tombol Test Patern
